The performance process of Climbing the Knife Mountain is simple, primitive, rough and unrestrained. The barefoot Climbing the Knife Mountain, the Climbing and Descending the Knife Mountain in the form of performing and dancing, the sword-drawing performance movements and performance style are rare in my country's Nuo dance performances. The Knife Mountain Nuo Dance has a wide influence in the She village and surrounding areas with its simple performance form, and is deeply loved by the people. The performance of the She Nationality Climbing the Knife Mountain is mainly distributed in Zhangping She Autonomous Township, which is located in the southern part of our city. In the middle of the Ming Dynasty, the She people moved from Fujian to Guixi and lived scattered on the hillside of Zhangping Jianghu Mountain.
