🎧  Listen to Introduction

The Eighteen Routes of Southern Shaolin Kungfu originated from the Northern Shaolin Temple, and was developed through the Southern Shaolin Temple in Fujian to form the Southern Shaolin Kungfu. Zou Laoyi, the founder of the Eighteen Routes, created the Eighteen Routes of Southern Shaolin Kungfu based on the physical characteristics of southerners. The Eighteen Routes are divided into four routines. The first routine is "Iron Wire Training Head" (also known as "Training Head" or "Force Head"); the second routine is "Iron Arm Bagua Kungfu" (also known as "Bagua Fist"), the third routine is "Four-Sided Stacking Kungfu" also known as "Linking Fist"; the fourth routine is "Eighteen Routes Kungfu", which is the essence of the whole set of Kungfu. The Eighteen Routes belongs to the Southern School of Boxing. Its main feature is to focus on hand skills, highlighting "fast, accurate, and ruthless", with the goal of defeating the enemy with one move. Hand skills are good at "transformation", from fist to palm, and from palm to fist. Attack and defense are integrated. The Eighteen Routes have been hidden among the people for a long time, and have maintained their original ecological mode for 246 years. Each move and style emphasizes "Ziwu", and fists and feet emphasize "size". Shibalu P is a mass competitive sport that strengthens the body. Develop Shibalu P and enhance people's physical fitness. Shibalu martial arts hall is not a martial arts hall in the general sense. Often a martial arts hall covers a village and a clan.
