Qian's Gynecology, also known as Shimenkan Gynecology. It was founded by the 11th generation of the Qian family in the late Northern Song Dynasty. It has been in existence for 22 generations so far. There are books such as "The Secret of Great Birth", "Essentials of Pregnancy and Childbirth", and "Qian's Obstetrics and Gynecology Prescriptions" extant. During the period when Emperor Gaozong of Song, Zhao Gou, stayed in the palace of Shaoxing, his concubines fell ill and he always invited Qian's Gynecology for diagnosis and treatment. The 14th generation Qian Xiangdong was very famous for his medical skills. The "Shanyin County Chronicles" of the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty said that he "gathered the essence of his ancestors and his reputation spread far and wide", and wrote "Essentials of Pregnancy and Childbirth". Xiangdong's son Tingxuan, grandson Denggu, and great-grandson Qiyao were able to inherit their ancestors' business and were good at gynecology. The 18th generation Ruyu was also good at pregnancy and childbirth. The 19th generation Baocan and his cousin Baonan and Baonan's eldest son Shaotang, second son Shaonan, grandson Shouqi, and Shouming were all good at gynecology and well-known in Shaoxing. There are still descendants who continue their business. Qian's Gynecology Department is good at regulating menstruation with wind-clearing drugs; for treating metrorrhagia, they do not use astringent prescriptions, but often use mulberry leaves and chrysanthemums to clear the liver, cool the blood, and clear the source and separate the flow; for treating leucorrhea, they advocate the theory of "five colors of leucorrhea" and are not bound by the saying that "leucorrhea is all due to the spleen"; they advocate regulating the liver and spleen and replenishing qi and blood before pregnancy, and avoid using products that consume qi such as Citrus aurantium and Cyperus rotundus; after childbirth, they should clear the stagnation and pay attention to the food and medicine taboos of pregnant women. Shenghua Tang created by Qian's Gynecology Department is a secret recipe handed down from generation to generation by Qian's Gynecology Department. He Lianchen wrote in the preface of Qian's Obstetrics Prescriptions: "Qian's prescriptions became popular because of Shenghua Tang. Zhang Huiqing, my predecessor in Yue, recorded it in Jingyue Complete Works. At that time, Jingyue Complete Works was popular, and Qian's obstetrics prescription Shenghua Tang was also popular. Even women knew about it. Drugstores prepared it as a popular official. They did not need to see a doctor for treatment, but bought it from drugstores. Later, in the early Qing Dynasty, Fu Qingzhu Zhengjun wrote Gynecology and Postpartum Compilation, which was often added or subtracted according to symptoms. The main purpose was to promote the invention of Shenghua Tang. The efficacy of the prescription. In the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, Lu Fengweng Jiuzhi revised it, eliminated the complicated ones, reduced the redundant ones, unified the miscellaneous ones, and changed its name to "Shenghua Bian". Qian's obstetrics and gynecology became famous. Qian's gynecology was prosperous in the Southern Song Dynasty and reached its peak in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Now it is gradually declining due to lack of successors. The relevant departments are actively taking measures to protect it and revive the reputation of Qian's gynecology. In June 2006, it was included in the first batch of Shaoxing City's intangible cultural heritage list.
