Yin's TCM gynecological therapy is a traditional medicine project in the fourth batch of Lianyungang City's representative projects of municipal intangible cultural heritage. Yin's TCM gynecology originated in the Qing Dynasty and has a history of at least 150 years in Lianyungang. Its third-generation gynecology inheritor Yin Gengsheng was once a student of Shi Fusheng, the grandson of Shi Shoutang, a famous doctor in the late Qing Dynasty; Shi Shoutang was a juren in the Qing Dynasty, and his seven generations of doctors were doctors. He wrote a medical work with the four famous classics of TCM, "Wenbing Tiaobian". Wu Ju studied TCM under Shi Shoutang's grandfather in his early years. Yin Gengsheng studied TCM diligently, mastered the essence of Shi's TCM, and followed Shi's diagnosis and treatment style. After being passed down by generations of Yin's ancestors and grandchildren, he formed his own relatively complete theory and treatment system. Yin's gynecology belongs to the "Shanyang School" system of TCM, and is one of the most representative inheritance schools with the characteristics of the "Shanyang School". TCM gynecology adheres to the traditional Chinese medical concept of my country, uses the four diagnostic methods of TCM to effectively distinguish syndromes, and prescribes medicines and prescriptions to mainly treat gynecological diseases. The treatment scope includes infertility, menstrual diseases, leucorrhea, antenatal and postnatal diseases, various gynecological inflammations, difficult diseases and other miscellaneous diseases, and integrates the treatment of internal medicine, men's medicine and febrile diseases. The main instruments and tools used in TCM gynecology are tamping tubes, star scales, milling nests, crushers, etc. The materials include various Chinese medicinal materials, Chinese patent medicines, as well as medical materials, medical books, etc. Yin's TCM gynecology relies on both master-apprentice inheritance and direct lineage inheritance. The first generation Shi Shoutang (1823-1869), a native of Lianshui, was a juren in the 29th year of Daoguang (1949), a famous filial and honest person in Huaibei, a famous doctor in the Qing Dynasty, and wrote medical works such as "Medical Origin" and "Complete Collection of Plagues". The Shi family is a medical family, and the inheritance has been passed down to the second generation Shi Fusheng (1867-1957), the grandson of Shi Shoutang, and has been practicing medicine for seven generations. Shi Fusheng is a famous Chinese medicine practitioner in Jiangsu and the author of the medical book "Shi's Treasures". The third-generation inheritor Yin Gengsheng (1917-2000) was a disciple of Shi Fusheng. He studied Chinese medicine with his master in 1934. After completing his studies, he opened the "Xinnan Pharmacy" in Xin'an Town in 1939 and began his medical career, which was passed down to his eldest son Yin Liangxiang. After graduating from high school, Yin Liangxiang followed his father to study medicine, specializing in the study of gynecological Chinese medicine theory. With academic success, he started a gynecological clinic in Guannan, which was later passed down to the fifth generation Yin Hu (1974-) and Yin Jun (1978). Yin Liangxiang's eldest son Yin Hu and second son Yin Jun both graduated from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, obtained practicing physician licenses, and followed their father to practice medicine in the local area. In order to further strengthen the inheritance and protection of TCM gynecological treatments, the Yin family has strengthened the compilation and research of traditional gynecological prescriptions, implemented the classification of proven prescriptions, established diagnosis and treatment files, studied the pathology of various related diseases and the pharmacology of the Chinese medicines used, gradually established a digital protection database, and published specialized gynecological medicine works in a timely manner, working hard to inherit and protect our country's traditional Chinese medicine for future generations.
