The Zhuan Drum Dance, called "Hudubulucou" in Hani language, is a traditional folk dance performed by Hani men with Zhuan drums as props. Zhuan Drum Dance is popular in the two townships of Potou and Puxiong in the southern part of Jianshui County and eight Hani villages. It is an important part of the Hani people's worship of the village god "Angma". Zhuan Drum Dance is simple and profound, rough and bold, with novel rhythms, showing the unity and national cohesion of the Hani people, and their hardworking, brave, simple and heroic character. Zhuan Drum Dance was included in the fourth batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection list in 2014.
