Zhen'an Flower Drum
Zhen'an Huagu is a Han folk song and dance that is popular in Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province. It is an intangible cultural heritage protection project in Shaanxi Province. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, due to floods and droughts in Xiangyang and Yunyang in northwestern Hubei, many folk artists went up the Han River and drifted to Zhen'an. As a result, Hubei's Qinzi Opera (now the big tube opera) and Bacha were widely spread, and then merged with local lantern songs and minor tunes to form a stereotyped drama, namely the "Erzhazi" drama. From its initial formation to the present, it has a history of more than 200 years. The performances of Zhen'an Huagu are mostly local Han folk life dramas, such as the tube "Lan Yulian Carrying Water", Bacha "Cai Mingfeng Leaving the Inn", and the minor tune "Wu Sanbao's Spring Outing". Zhen'an Huagu is a stereotyped drama that is formed by combining Hubei's Qinzi Opera (Datongzi Opera) and Bacha Opera with local lantern songs and minor tunes, namely "Erpengzi" drama. In the past, the performance scale of "Erpengzi" drama was generally larger than shadow puppetry but smaller than Erhuang, so it was called "Erjianghu". The three types of Zhen'an Huagu's vocal styles (tongzi, Bacha, and minor tunes) are all in the state of folk songs to varying degrees, and the "motherland" is highly primitive and has a complex musical structure.
