Buyi martial arts are popular in Anlong County, Qianxinan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. They are mainly distributed in Buyi villages such as Pairong Village and Dangchao Village in Chuntan Street, Datang Village in Qianxiang Street, and Beixiang Village in Longshan Town. Buyi martial arts are concise and practical, capable of both defense and attack, and unique. Most of its routines are derived from the Buyi people's hunting and farming practices, and most of its equipment are daily production and living tools for the Buyi people, including maces, benches, brooms, rakes, shoulder poles, sickles and other equipment. There are routine performances and sparring and other small items, which have strong characteristics of Buyi farming culture. On May 24, 2021, it was approved by the State Council to be included in the fifth batch of national representative items of intangible cultural heritage. (No pictures yet, welcome to provide.)
