Jiujiang Wenqu Opera (the fourth batch of provincial level) Jiujiang Wenqu Opera is a combination of literary words and folk songs. The singing style is relatively rich, with more than ten main singing styles. The commonly used tunes can be divided into four types: literary words, southern words, four-board singing style and miscellaneous tunes. 1. Literary words: Literary words are the basic singing style of Wenqu, and are the musical theme of the opera (song type). The melody is unique and can shape various musical images to suit various emotions. It can be fast or slow, happy or angry, and it can be sung like anything. It is specifically divided into male and female literary words, fast and slow literary words, pulling literary words, ruler literary words, flowery literary words, and more than ten kinds of literary words such as counting boards, shaking boards, fast boards, and leading boards. Literary words belong to the "25" mode, that is, the Shang mode, and the emphasized sound is the fourth-level sound sign; 2. Southern words: The southern words are also called the immortal tune, which is also the main singing style of Wenqu. The tune of returning to the soul and the medicine point belong to this category. It has various emotions such as fantasy, sleepwalking, drowsiness and quietness. The mode is special. The ending tone of the whole song is Zheng, but the main tone is Yu, and the most supported tone is Shang. 3. Sibanqiang system: Sibanqiang system is also a common singing style in literary lyrics. It can be divided into slow Siban, fast Siban, crying Siban, Sibantou, male flat, female flat, Siping tune, fresh flower tune, white peony, number of boards, Siping, etc. It has various emotions such as narrative, cheerfulness, sorrow, etc., and can create different musical images. It is mainly Zheng mode, but there are also Gong mode and Shang mode, which are closer to literary lyrics. In this singing style, non-pentatonic #4 and #7 appear, which belongs to the use of comprehensive modal seven-tone, but with the factor of modal development; 4. Miscellaneous tune system: In order to enrich the singing style of Wenqu, artists absorbed folk songs and small tunes, such as: "Nine Links", "Persuading the Fifth Watch", "Noisy Fifth Watch", "Selling Groceries", "Selling Peanuts", "Ten Embroidery" and other tunes, with brisk rhythm, relaxed and close combination with language, but far from the style of literary words, it is not suitable to use more, which hinders the style of Wenqu drama and makes people sound mixed. Its performance style used to be a huqin, a zhaban, and a pandie. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, new literary and artistic workers added plucked instruments, percussion instruments, brass instruments, etc., which played a major role in performing modern dramas.
