Yuanshan Town holds the incense dragon dance activity from the first to the fifteenth day of the first lunar month every year. The incense dragon is made of a wooden frame in the shape of a dragon, and then straw is wrapped around the wooden frame, and then incense is inserted into the straw. The incense dragon dance can be divided into five plots: "worshiping the four gates", "swimming dragons", "turning over frames", "grabbing balls" and "grouping dragons". The performance skills are quite difficult. In addition to gongs, drums and music, the incense dragon dance is also led by someone to sing "dragon songs", which are some New Year's blessings.
