Lingbi County is located in the northeast of Anhui Province. It has a beautiful environment and a long history. As early as the Neolithic Age, humans lived here. The county was established in the first year of Yuanyou (1086) during the reign of Emperor Zhezong of the Song Dynasty. After the change of dynasties, our ancestors left behind a cultural heritage that still shines today with their wisdom and unremitting efforts. Lingbi stone carving is one of the folk art wonders that has been passed down to this day. Lingbi stone carving was formed during the Sinian Period of the Late Proterozoic Era (about 800 million years ago) and belongs to the carbonate rock of the Ordovician System. Lingbi stone carving can be traced back to the Yin and Shang Dynasties many years ago. At that time, the royal family began to use Lingbi stone carving to make special chimes, which pioneered the "music of gold and stone" in ancient my country.
