Pengxi stone carving has been a county since the Tang Dynasty. It is located on the boundary line between ancient Ba and Shu, and has a rich historical and artistic heritage. Stone carving and wood carving techniques are widely used among the people, especially the mud-footed teachers and disciples of the sculpture engineering team of Pengxi Jiujian Engineering Company. They first learned from local stonemasons and then from Guang stonemasons, first learning shallow carving and then trying deep carving. Using high relief, openwork, suspended relief and other techniques, the waterfalls are interspersed, and the movement and stillness echo each other, reflecting human yearning for nature and thirst for life.
