Xiao County is located in the northernmost part of Anhui Province, where Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and Anhui provinces meet. It belonged to Xuzhou from the Han Dynasty to the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and was transferred to Anhui Province in 1955. From 1914 when Xiao County had its first Zhuizi artist to the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Xiao County artists, on the basis of singing Henan East Road Zhuizi, absorbed a lot of other local music types and Xuzhou Bangzi music singing styles, and gradually formed the Xiao County Zhuizi with its own style and characteristics of "speaking, singing, joking and acting". Xiao County Zhuizi is a banqiang body, and the main styles and tunes include: flat board, cold board, slow board, slow board continuous, fast board, positive cross, inverted cross, three-character brocade, five-character bang, etc., with beautiful classic tunes and good at lyricism and narrative. The accompaniment instruments are Jianban and Zhuihu. The lyrics are mostly seven-character sentences, and there are also ten-character sentences. The performance forms include: monologue, dialogue, multi-talk and pendant play; monologue and dialogue, mostly singing long books; such as "The Nations", "Golden Spear Northern Song", "Yuntai Zhonghan", "Yue Tang", "Sui and Tang", "Yang Family Generals", "Hu Family Generals", etc.; multi-talk pendant, mostly short and medium-length pieces showing modern life, such as "Liu Qiao Reunion", "Three Letters", "Wang Jie Rescue", "After the Harvest", "Bitter Cabbage Flowers", "Chabu Guerrillas", etc. First, it is its tradition to say new things and sing new things, especially since 1964, it has compiled and performed many modern pieces and performed in rural areas. Second, the performance area is wide. In addition to frequent performances in urban and rural areas of the county, it has also performed in 13 provinces and cities north of the Yangtze River. When the People's Republic of China was founded, it already had a large number of famous Zhuizi artists in Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and Anhui, such as Li Jiaoling, Liu Yuanzhi, Li Yuantong, Guo Heyin, Ma Minglan, Liu Yuanzhen, etc., while Chen Fengying, Tang Guiying, etc. are famous actors who grew up in "speaking new and singing new".
