Jinniudong Tourist Resort is located at the foot of Wuling Mountain in Xinglong County, Chengde City. It is a comprehensive service place for tourist accommodation, catering, entertainment and conferences. The Jinniudong Scenic Area is adjacent to the resort, located on the southern foot of Wuling Mountain and Dongmei Temple Mountain. The cave is a natural cave with three layers: upper, middle and lower, and some karst development. According to experts, the cave was formed in the Meso-Ancient Era 1.4 billion years ago. It is the closest karst cave to the top of the mountain in the world. At the same time, this cave, known as the "ancient strange cave", was also the place where the "Mahayana Tianzhen Yuandun Sect" of the Ming Dynasty took refuge and the leader wrote the "Longhua Sutra". There are still many Buddha statues and scripture writing platforms in the cave. There are also several caves of different sizes, as confusing as the "Tunnel War".

Philosophy related to the heritage

Interpretation of Jinniu Cave from the perspective of Eastern philosophy Jinniu Cave, as a combination of natural and cultural landscapes, embodies the idea of "harmony between man and nature" from the perspective of Eastern philosophy. In Taoist philosophy, mountains, rivers and caves in nature are regarded as the gathering place of the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, and are a symbol of the harmonious coexistence of man and nature. The formation of Jinniu Cave is the result of billions of years of natural evolution of the earth. The stalactites in the cave are of various shapes, as if they are the work of nature, showing the concept of "Tao follows nature". At the same time, as a Taoist holy place, Jinniu Cave is named after the legendary golden bull, symbolizing wealth and power, reflecting people's awe and worship of natural forces, and their yearning for a harmonious life. Interpretation of Jinniu Cave from the perspective of Western philosophy From the perspective of Western philosophy, Jinniu Cave can be interpreted as a philosophical exploration of natural beauty. In Western aesthetics, natural landscapes are regarded as the source of beauty, and the natural wonders of Jinniu Cave, such as the shape of stalactites and the structure of caves, can be regarded as the concrete manifestation of natural beauty. In addition, as a tourist attraction, the process of development and protection of Jinniu Cave reflects the ethical responsibility of mankind to the natural environment. In Western environmental philosophy, this involves how to balance the relationship between nature protection and human activities, and reflects the thinking on sustainable development and ecological ethics. At the same time, the legend and history of Jinniu Cave also reminds people of the discussion on mythology and the origin of human culture in Western philosophy. As the habitat of early human civilization, caves symbolize human exploration of the unknown world and the pursuit of their own origins. In summary, whether from the perspective of the "unity of man and nature" in Eastern philosophy or the natural beauty and environmental ethics of Western philosophy, Jinniu Cave carries a profound cultural and philosophical connotation, and is a vivid example of the intersection of nature and humanity, and Eastern and Western philosophy.
