Wanzai Lantern Opera (Second Batch of Provincial Level) Wanzai Lantern Opera, formerly known as Huagu Lantern Opera, originated in the middle and late Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years. It is an ancient opera with a unique style and a strong local flavor. In 1999, it was listed as one of the more than 360 local operas in the country and included in the "Jiangxi Volume of the Collection of Chinese Opera Music". After the three development stages of "lantern opera", "triangle class" and "half class", Wanzai Lantern Opera has gradually formed a local opera with unique characteristics in terms of voice and performance. Its language is vivid and simple, the lyrics are easy to understand, the performance is beautiful and lively, and it pays equal attention to singing, dancing and skills. It pays attention to virtual exaggeration and lifelike images, and always maintains the art form of lanterns with singing and dancing. The lantern tune has rich rhythms and a unique "strong, weak and strong" three-beat. The singing adopts natural voice, and it is always sung in its own voice. In addition, the cooperation of lantern gongs and drums makes it gentle, stretched, coordinated and harmonious. In terms of performing arts, it has local characteristics and has formed a distinctive artistic style. The roles include Sheng, Dan, Jing, Mo, and Chou, and the expressions of each role contain the seven emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, happiness, love, hate, evil, and worry. Each role must be in line with the character's personality, and the inner emotions must be expressed with hands, eyes, body, hair, and steps. The singing skills include three basic skills: breath, pronunciation, and swinging. Particular attention is paid to accurate pronunciation, clear pronunciation, no floating or falling, and moderate weight, which can be described as "correct pronunciation and round voice". The recitation skills are divided into three types: "Beijing Bai", "Yun Bai" and local dialects, and special attention is paid to the rhyme type of recitation; Huadan: dignified and lively; Wen Xiaosheng: elegant and free and easy; Wu Xiaosheng: heroic and bold; Laodan: slow, skillful and rigorous; Jing: mellow, broad, rough, and majestic; Wenchou: sharp, smooth, and left-sounding. The fan skills of Sheng, Dan, and Chou are all unique. The fan of Xiaodan should be "round", the fan of Xiaosheng should be "lively", and the fan of Qiaochou should be "flowery". The main types of Pagong include top plate style, umbrella style, flying saucer style, and rotating style; there are many types of stepwork, including "dan step", "chou step" and "gongzi step". There are two types of music in Huadeng Opera: traditional vocal style and new style. Traditional vocal style is divided into Huadeng tune, miscellaneous tune and original tune. Huadeng tune is mainly folk song and lantern tune. After the founding of New China, a county-level professional Huadeng Opera Troupe was established. With the joint efforts of professional composers and actors, Huadeng singing style was developed and incorporated into the opera, making the style richer and more suitable for the needs of the plot and character expressions, thus forming a new tune for Huadeng Opera. The accompaniment of Huadeng Opera mainly includes two types: huqin pulling and suona blowing. Gong and drum scripture is an important part of Huadeng Opera, with more than 100 gong and drum beats, mainly including head-type points, gong-type points, and noisy stage. There are two types of musical instruments: percussion and orchestral. Wanzai Lantern Opera has experienced ups and downs, and has produced more than 200 plays, created more than 20 original plays, and more than 40 original skits.
