Beijiao Village Concert is an intangible cultural heritage project in Fangshan District. Beijiao Village is located in the southern part of Fuzizhuang Township. It was a village before the Yuan Dynasty. There are five folk flower fairs in the village. According to the folk customs of the village, there are fairs during traditional festivals such as the Spring Festival every year. When going out, first worship and invite the audience at the village temple, and then go to the fair, also known as the street. Most of them go along the roads in the village. When they come across a dining table, they have to perform at the dining table. Each fair takes a day. Beijiao Village Concert is folk music and is the oldest. Legend has it that it has existed since the village was built. It is the guild of Beijiao Village. It has been more than 500 years since the founding of the village. It can be verified that it is 215 years old. The main inheritors are six generations. From 1804 to 1991, they were Gao Wu, Putingru, Putianlin, Liu Run, Kong Lingcong, and the main contemporary inheritor is Wang Huaiguo. There is an ancient score in Beijiao Village Concert, which dates back to the first year of the reign of Emperor Qi of Ming Dynasty, more than 300 years ago. It contains 108 complete ancient songs recorded in Gongche notation, such as "Drunk Taiping", "Shaking Mountain", "Happy Reunion", "Three Refuges Praise", etc. The learning and playing of ancient scores has always been oral, and each ancient song corresponds to a corresponding performance. When learning, first memorize the score, then learn to play. The main instrument of the concert is the pipe, and the player is the main inheritor. The rest are cloud gong, pipe, flute, sheng, drum, cymbals, etc. Most of the ancient songs in the concert are related to Buddhist activities. They are played during traditional festivals and during funeral activities of the villagers in the village, and this is still the case. The Beijiao Village Concert has a clear inheritance, the ancient score is well preserved, and the folk connotation is rich. This is an important material for studying the history of music and local folk history, and it is also an important content for studying regional culture. It is also of great value to the study of folk music.
