Since 1955, Feng Lijin, Cai Jiansheng, and the three Xu brothers have formed the basic team of Shanghai ivory carving. At present, the fifth-generation inheritors Liang Duanyu and Zhou Baijun, two national-level arts and crafts masters, are the backbone of Shanghai ivory carving.
