Wuxi old-style noodle making skills are a traditional skill item in the fourth batch of representative items of intangible cultural heritage of Wuxi. According to records, "Wuxi old-style noodles" have a history of more than 100 years. At the beginning of the last century, with the opening of Wuxi's unmanned railway and the rise of the industrial and commercial city, Wuxi's Yalechun Noodle Restaurant, Fulushou Noodle Restaurant and several noodle restaurants in the railway station area used Wuxi's traditional production methods to innovate and develop Wuxi old-style noodles - assorted soup noodles.
