During the Qing Dynasty, local working people had the habit of dancing dragons and lions to celebrate festivals. Lu Shouhu used green grass to make a lion and created a unique Green Grass Lion Dance. The Green Grass Lion is a super-large lion. The diameter of the lion's head is more than 1 meter, the lion's body is more than 9 meters long and 2 meters wide. The biggest difference from other types of lions is that it has four legs and is danced by 7 people. The Green Grass Lion has an exaggerated shape, both form and spirit, majestic and majestic, and magnificent; the performance routines include "walking light (passing), walking through four doors, drunken sleeping, scratching, 0 body, wiping eyes", etc. The performance time is 2 hours, mainly performed during the Dragon Boat Festival and the Lantern Festival. The performance during the Lantern Festival is the most grand, often performed for three days and three nights.
