Lanshan Fishermen's Song
【Arashiyama Fishermen’s Song】 is the “Xintianyou” of Arashiyama fishermen, and is a labor song that fishermen sing in unison while casting nets to catch fish. It not only reproduces the real scene of Arashiyama fishermen’s daily life, but also sublimates on the basis of real life, reproducing the enthusiasm of Arashiyama fishermen to tame the sea and ride the waves while fishing and their yearning for a better life. Fishermen use their hands covered with calluses from casting nets all day to create works of art that are higher than the reality of life. Arashiyama songs have both leading and chorus. There are dozens of different songs according to different operation scenes, operation periods and operation methods. The old fishermen in Arashiyama combine them into “push the gate”, “slide the net”, “hoop the pile”, etc., with high-pitched voices, beautiful melodies, and passionate emotions. They are very penetrating, showing the enthusiasm of fishermen to tame the sea and ride the waves and their yearning for a better life. The "Arashiyama haozi" performed on the dock has a more unique "flavor" than on the stage; the scene, the inner shock of the "Arashiyama haozi" when the actors perform, the sonorous and powerful voices, and the enthusiasm of the fishermen all give people a huge impact. Recently, the Arashiyama fishermen's haozi has been included in the first batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage lists. (No pictures yet, welcome to provide.)
