Manchu Water-Slapping Dance Project Batch: Provincial 3rd Batch Project Protection Unit: Ning'an Cultural Center Manchu Water-Slapping Dance is also known as "Water-Slapping Cha Cha Niu", "Cha Cha" means a girl in the Jurchen language. The Manchu Water-Slapping Dance, which is popular in Ning'an, Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang Province, mainly shows mothers teaching their daughters to scoop fish with basins, ladles and spoons by the river and play with them. One person plays the mother and two people play the sisters. The dance movements include "horizontal shadow", "turning basin", "putting on the pan", "sea blue eyes", etc., which are dramatic, interesting and humorous, and directly reflect the living conditions of the Manchu people in ancient times.
