Jianchang Drum
The inheritance of Jianchang drum is not family-based, and most of the artists are disabled people such as the blind. In order to make a living, they learn from teachers, or ask teachers to learn, or accompany teachers, learn singing and performance, or steal skills. The master-disciple relationship is not particularly strict. Jianchang drum has three inheritance lineages, and the main inheritors are: Li Guoyin, Cao Yiquan, Cao Yitang, Lu Guozhi, Yang Guoqing, and Zhang Yuqiang. The important value of Jianchang drum lies in its historical value. The long bibliography of Jianchang drum singing involves Zhou, Three Kingdoms, Tang, Song, Ming, Qing, and the Republic of China, which has important reference value for the study of ancient history. If a complete bibliography is excavated, it will have certain literary and artistic value. Jianchang drum is circulated in the hub of cultural exchanges inside and outside the pass, and is an important material for studying various marginal disciplines such as humanities and customs in western Liaoning. It has been listed as an intangible cultural heritage by the state. (No pictures yet, welcome to provide.) (No pictures yet, welcome to provide.)
