The Dong people are one of the ethnic groups with the richest and most popular knowledge of ethnic medicine in my country. Dong medicine has a broad mass base in the local area. The idea of "heaven, earth, air, water, and man" is the core of Dong medicine academic thought. Dong medicine divides diseases into 24 major diseases and 72 minor diseases, covering a wide range of diseases such as internal medicine, external medicine, gynecology, children, and bone injuries. It is particularly effective in treating trauma bone setting, knife and arrow gunshot wounds, and snake and insect bites. The production process of Huanglu Yao is one of the essences of traditional Dong medicine. It is unique in terms of preparation technology, examination of etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, medication, and health care. Huanglu Yao belongs to the genus Lysimachia of the Primulaceae family. It is a natural medicinal plant commonly used in Dong medicine in Southeast Guizhou. The whole plant is used for medicinal purposes and has the effects of hemostasis, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-inflammatory. According to different symptoms, it is picked in different ways, and the whole plant or part of it is used as medicine, and it is combined with other herbs to make the required dosage form. The main dosage forms are fresh juice of Rhizoma Cynomorii, fresh medicine poultice, compound Rhizoma Cynomorii decoction, wine preparation, ointment, etc. Dong medicine widely uses Rhizoma Cynomorii to treat urinary tract stones, cholecystitis, gallstones, icteric hepatitis, edema, traumatic injury, snake bites, poisonous mushrooms and drug poisoning, and external application to treat digestive system diseases such as burns and suppurative inflammation. The production process of Rhizoma Cynomorii is the folk medical knowledge accumulated and created by the Dong people in the process of long-term use of medicinal biological resources and mineral resources, and passed down through oral transmission. With the development of modern society, the inheritance of Dong medicine (Rhizoma Cynomorii production process) has become fragile and urgently needs protection.
