Yushanban Performance (Second Batch Provincial Level) Huaiyu Township, Yushan County is located at the foot of Sanqingshan Mountain, a Taoist holy land. Huaiyushan Mountain is not only a famous mountain with frequent Taoist, Buddhist and Confucian activities, but also an important area for drama performance activities. It is the birthplace of "Yushanban" performance and one of the important sources of Gan Opera. The villagers of Jinxi Village, Huaiyushan Township, love drama performance activities, and still retain the activity mode of Yushanban performance. Jinxi Village is known as the "hometown of Gan Opera". Due to the numerous sacrificial activities on weekdays, various classes have gradually formed, collectively known as "Yushanban", that is, Yushan Opera Troupe. "Yushanban" consists of four major parts: "play language", "qupai acting", "instrumental instruments and props", and "conservative costumes". In ancient times, the play language was due to the demand for "community play, Taoist play, longevity play, and New Year play", and was mostly performed during the "Spring Festival, Autumn Festival, New Year and Birthday". The repertoires were all designed for specific environments; the stage language was the same Huaiyushan Mandarin; there were more than 300 tunes and plays. Musical instruments are divided into civil and martial fields. The second-class class only has martial fields (i.e. percussion instruments), and the third-class class has commonly used national instruments; props originally refer to Taoist tools (such as cloud brooms), but now refer to all stage tools; clothing originally refers to Taoist hats and robes, but later changes due to different characters. Conservative (now scenery), the stage art of the old times. The "Yushan Class" performance originated from religious activities in the Song and Yuan Dynasties. In the Song Dynasty, there were "passing" (mobile) performances of the Yuyi Taoist Tune Class Society that made a living by performing arts. In the Yuan Dynasty, "saishen" had developed into "jingtai (singing on the opposite stage)". The mythological dramas sung by the Taoist class in the Ming Dynasty had vivid and tortuous plots and pleasant voices, which made the Yushan Class performance begin to flourish. It was the most prosperous in the Qing Dynasty. There are more than 40 classes in the county, and performance activities are spread all over the country, creating a grand occasion of "no jade, no class, and Gaoqiang spread all over the world".
