Pingxiang Tea Picking Opera (the third provincial level) Pingxiang Tea Picking Opera is a branch of Jiangxi Tea Picking Opera, also known as Pingxiang local opera. It is formed on the basis of Jiangxi Nuo dance and lanterns, and gradually developed and expanded by absorbing the nutrients of Hunan Flower Drum Opera, Gannan Tea Picking Opera, Han Opera, and Cantonese Opera. It is popular in Pingxiang and neighboring Wanzai, Yichun, Tonggu, Ninggang, Liuyang, Liling and other places. At present, the language of Pingxiang Tea Picking Opera is Pingxiang urban dialect, and the singing style is mainly Sichuan tune and Shen tune, as well as tea lantern, song tune and other miscellaneous tunes. The different singing methods of each profession and special singing techniques such as nasal voice, grief-stricken voice and glissando make the singing style of Pingxiang Tea Picking Opera have a unique charm. Pingxiang Tea Picking Opera is known as "Jiangxi Pingtan" and has won high honors in China's opera. In the 1950s, the main singing segments of "Village Red" and "Anyuan Da1" were recorded by China Record Society and distributed nationwide. He has also won various awards in the theater industry, including the "Five One Project Award" from the Central Propaganda Department twice, the Wenhua Award and the Wenhua Award from the Ministry of Culture, the Cao Yu Literature Award from the China Theatre Association, and the Tian Han Drama Literature Award.
