Singing festivals are an ancient custom of the Zhuang nationality, with a wide range of popular appeal and a long history. The main traditional singing festivals in Tiandong include: Ganyangyan Singing Festival. Ganyangyan is located in Guangyang Village in the north of Silin Town, Tiandong County. The cave is about 6 kilometers away from Nanbai Secondary Road and about 40 kilometers away from Tiandong County. Ganyangyan is known as a fairy cave. It is the deepest, widest and most beautiful limestone cave in Tiandong County. The front hall of the cave can accommodate 2,000 people and the area is about the size of a football field. The cave is unfathomable, and the tunnel is curved and extended. Sometimes it is a huge cave hall, and sometimes it is a narrow passage that can only accommodate a single person. There are springs in the cave and rivers under the cave. There are all kinds of stalactites, stone pillars, stone flowers and stone curtains. There is a deep pool about 300 meters deep in the cave, about 50 meters wide, and the water in the pool is cool and delicious, and the bottom is clear. Ganyangyan is also the birthplace of the Tiandong Zhuang nationality's liaoge. The three days around the 19th day of the second lunar month every year are the most lively and grand festival of Ganyangyan, the Ganyang Fengliu Ge Fair. Villagers from all over the country gather in this cave spontaneously to play and sing. The cave is crowded and lively. After three days and three nights of continuous liaoge duets, the singers are still reluctant to part. This song expresses the deep feelings of many lovers and creates many moving love stories. Naba Ge Fair. Naba Ge Fair is the first market day of the beginning of March in the lunar calendar every year. At the foot of the beautiful Lotus Mountain, beside the winding Lingqi River, and in the magnificent chessboard beach, folk singers from Tiandong, Tianyang, and Bama come in pairs to sing and "carnival" to their heart's content. The main type of songs sung at the song fair is the arrangement of songs, mainly young men and women singing love songs duets. Generally, young men and women who go to the song fair will carry some tokens with them. Men usually carry towels, umbrellas, candies, etc., while women carry cloth shoes, sachets, towels, etc. Whenever they sing to the point of being in love, these things are given to each other as tokens to seal their love. Therefore, the Naba song fair is famous for its romance. Mu Niang Cave Song Fair. There is a natural karst cave in the southeast of the Model Village of Xiangzhou Town, called "Mu Niang Cave". It is said that it is the residence of the mother of Buluotuo, the ancestor of the Zhuang nationality. Not far from the cave is the source of the Xiangshui River. The water gushes out from the cracks in the rocks of the mountains, and there is a water temple. The cave is spacious and deep, with a statue of Mu Niang, and incense burning all year round. Outside the cave entrance is a flat plain, with the Xiangshui River winding through it, and the fields are full of life all year round. It is a paradise on earth. The Mu Niang Cave Song Fair starts on the 15th day of the first lunar month and lasts until the 19th day. Every year on the day of the song fair, there are mountain singers and worshippers from various towns in Tiandong, as well as the surrounding counties of Tianyang, Debao, Baise, Jingxi, Pingguo, etc. In addition to burning incense and worshipping Mu Niang, people listen to songs and sing songs to satisfy their cravings. Xiangzhou Song Fair. The "romantic" song fair in Xiangzhou starts on the 28th day of the third lunar month every year and is held at the Guandi Temple on Jiuzhou Middle Street. The non-stop mountain song duets for three consecutive days and nights make the "guests from all directions" linger and are intoxicated. During the song fair, every household in the town is decorated with lanterns and colorful lights, and every household holds a banquet to entertain guests; there are colorful tents on the streets, and the road gods set up a stage to thank the gods and walk in the garden to send children to the newlyweds; there are troupes on the stage to perform, and there are singers singing on the street. The whole song fair is like a carnival. Tuogua Song Fair. The site is located on a high mountain flat land in Tuogua Village, Zuodeng Township, and the time is the 9th day of the fourth lunar month. It is the only song fair in Tiandong that has the participation of the Yao people. The main types of songs performed in the song fair are Nong songs and Bunu Yao folk songs. The singers and the masses mainly come from Zuodeng, Yincha, Jiangcheng, Tiandeng, and some towns and villages in Debao County. The song fair is mainly about singing and singing, and there is no commercial activity. It is a purely entertaining song fair. Yixu Song Fair. The fair is held on Yixu Street on the last market day of the third month of the lunar calendar. Singers and people from Tianyang, Bama, some towns and villages of Pingguo, as well as Naba, Yixu, Xiangzhou, Shuoliang, Linfeng and other places participate in the fair. The songs they sing are Paige. Yixu is located at the junction of three counties (Tiandong, Tianyang, and Bama). It is the center of the old "Qili". It has always been prosperous in the streets and active in economy and trade. The people in the Qili mountain area are good at singing, and it is a place for singers to come out of the mountains. Among the many song fairs in Tiandong, Yixu Song Fair is not only a material exchange event, but also a sea of folk songs. On the day of the singing festival, people wearing flowery headscarves walk around the streets and loud singing can be heard everywhere. Young men and women from the three places sing, make friends and express their feelings here. It is the most authentic Zhuang singing festival.
