Huizhou Lijiaquan is as famous as Hongjiaquan, Liujiaquan, Caijiaquan and Mojiaquan, which are popular among the people of Guangdong. It is one of the five famous boxing styles in Guangdong. It was founded in the early Qing Dynasty by Li Yi, a villager from Midi Village on the south bank of Huizhou City. It has a history of more than 250 years.
