Introduction to "The Legend of Huangzangyu" Xiao County, called "Xiao State" in the Spring and Autumn Period, was a vassal of Song State and is located in the northernmost part of the province. Huangzangyu, about 25 kilometers southeast of Xiao County, was originally named Huangsangyu. It is located at the junction of Jiangsu and Anhui provinces and is under the jurisdiction of Guanqiao Town. There are many outstanding people and beautiful scenery here. There are many legends among the people. "The Legend of Huangzangyu" is one of them. At the end of the Qin Dynasty, Liu Bang and Xiang Yu fought a four-year Chu-Han War for the throne. In 205 BC, Liu Bang attacked Xiang Yu's capital Pengcheng and was defeated by Xiang Yu. He hid alone in the nearby Huangsangyu for refuge. Because he cared for the people, the soldiers around him gave him advice and got rid of the predicament. He seized the opportunities of time, place and people, such as: Huangzang Cave, Xianren Bed, Sanxian Cave, Sword Drawing Spring, Ma Ba Spring, Ruiyun Temple, etc., and escaped Xiang Yu's pursuit. Later, Liu Bang knew how to use people well. After several years of bloody battles, he defeated Xiang Yu, unified the Central Plains, and ascended the throne of emperor. "The righteous will have many supporters, while the unrighteous will have few supporters" is the core of Confucianism. Since ancient times, this has been the law of social development in ancient and modern times. Liu Bang applied it to military warfare, and it has become a mirror for people's lives and behaviors for more than two thousand years. The problem of "the righteous will have many supporters, while the unrighteous will have few supporters" contained in this legend still has positive significance today. Folk literature is collectively created and circulated orally by the masses, and is constantly modified during its circulation. Therefore, under the premise that the basic plot of the legend remains unchanged, the details and language will change due to different regions, customs, and narrators.
