Zhu's Massage Therapy
Zhu's One Finger Zen Massage Therapy was founded by Mr. Zhu Chunting, the sixth generation doctor of Huangqiang Traditional Chinese Medicine Family in Jiading, Shanghai, and was passed down by his son Mr. Zhu Dingcheng. Zhu's One Finger Zen Massage is one of the most famous schools of modern Chinese massage. Its foundation is the Chinese medicine masterpiece "Huangdi Neijing" and the "One Finger Zen Massage" created by Bodhidharma. Its techniques include more than ten kinds of pushing, holding, pressing, rubbing and pushing and rubbing, and the One Finger Zen Pushing Method is its essence; "using fingers instead of needles" and "internal disease external treatment" are its characteristics; its "all methods return to one", "meridian diagnosis and treatment", "gentle and comfortable" concepts and therapies are unique in the diagnosis and treatment of internal and external diseases such as spleen and stomach diseases, poliomyelitis, headaches, irregular menstruation, pediatric dysplasia, cervical spondylosis, osteoarthritis, etc. After the founding of New China, Zhu Chunting was hired by East China Hospital and pioneered the Chinese massage specialty. After more than half a century of clinical accumulation, Zhu's One Finger Zen Massage has continuously expanded the fields of massage medicine, health care, and rehabilitation on the basis of comprehensively inheriting and summarizing Zhu Chunting's academic thoughts, and has incorporated new treatment concepts and methods such as "preventive treatment". Striving to be people-oriented and provide personalized services, it has successively launched specialized clinics and Chinese medicine studios for insomnia, cervical vertigo, etc. Zhu Chunting and his son Zhu Dingcheng have devoted themselves to serving the public medical care and "- health care", relieved the pain of patients, and gained fame. Zhu's One Finger Zen Massage has contributed the wisdom of Chinese medicine to the public health and wellness cause. Zhu's One Finger Zen Massage has made great contributions to China's massage education. Zhu Chunting wrote books and taught, and founded China's first professional massage education school, breaking through the model of traditional Chinese medicine family inheritance or master-apprentice relationship for thousands of years, creating a precedent for massage classroom teaching, and his students are all over the world. Zhu Chunting is the only massage medical scientist recorded in the "Da Ci Hai" (2003 edition). The Shanghai Health Annals (1998 edition) lists Zhu's Tuina as one of the schools of Chinese medicine.
