The birch bark boat is shaped like a willow leaf. The frame of the boat is made of thin boards of larch or willow, birch, black birch, etc., and is fixed by wooden nails cut from pine. The inside and outside of the boat's mouth are clamped with thin strips, and the outside is covered with non-porous birch bark. The seams are coated with pine oil and are waterproof after baking. The hull is generally about 3 meters long, up to 5 meters, with a maximum width of 80 cm to 1 meter and a height of 60 cm. It can accommodate two or three people or even more. The boat weighs dozens of kilograms and is light and easy to carry.
