Bronze sculpture is one of the three major origins of civilization recognized by anthropologists. It is commonly known as bronze ware and is as famous as writing and cities. my country is one of the first countries in the world to enter the bronze sculpture era. Bronze sculptures are of various types, elaborate patterns, and exquisite workmanship, which fully reflects the unique artistic charm and distinctive national style of Chinese bronze sculptures. Daye is known as "a hundred miles of golden land, a treasure pot in the south of the Yangtze River". It has a 4,000-year history of bronze smelting, a 1,000-year history of county establishment, and a 100-year history of opening up. During the Shang Dynasty, furnace smelting was flourishing, creating a brilliant bronze civilization. The origin of Daye bronze sculpture can be traced back to the ancient Bronze Age. The production methods mainly include lost wax method and mold method. The lost wax method is commonly known as the investment casting method. Its production process is as follows: first, a model is made of wax, and then mud is filled inside and outside the model to fix the entire model into a whole casting; next, the model is heated to melt and drain the wax, thus forming an empty mold, which is sealed, and then a metal solution is poured into the cavity; after cooling, the filled mud is knocked off, and a molded casting identical to the original wax model can be obtained. The mold method is a more widely used casting method. However, no matter which casting method is used, Daye bronze carving skills are a treasure in the intangible cultural heritage.
