Beijing Tea General Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing Ershang Group and one of the 12 "Chinese time-honored brands" under Beijing Ershang. The company is a large state-owned enterprise integrating tea production, processing and sales, and has been recognized as a "Chinese famous brand enterprise" by the China General Chamber of Commerce. Beijing Tea General Company was founded in 1950, then known as the Beijing Business Office of China Tea Company. Beijing Tea Processing Factory was built in 1951. After the state began public-private partnership in 1956, the technical personnel, production equipment and business outlets of the original major private tea companies in Beijing were successively taken over by Beijing Tea Processing Factory. In 1988, Beijing Tea Processing Factory was expanded on the original site and the current name Beijing Tea General Company was adopted. Since its establishment, Beijing Tea General Company has been the exclusive supplier of tea to the central government and various ministries and the exclusive franchise and management of tea in Beijing. It can be called the mainstay of Beijing tea companies. At the same time, it is responsible for the supply of tea in the "Three Norths" (North China, Northwest China, and Northeast China). It once sold 140,000 dan of tea a year, becoming the domestic sales leader of China's tea industry. The "Jinghua" trademark registered by the company in 1981 is the first tea trademark in New China. The "Jinghua" bagged tea developed in 1984 is the first to use aluminum foil bags to package tea in China. With its own advantages in resources, technology and talents, Beijing Tea General Company has won the unanimous praise of consumers in the "Three Norths" region centered on Beijing and international friends who travel to China for its excellent quality and high-quality services. "Drink good tea, choose Jinghua" is a household name and is known to everyone. For more than 50 years, Beijing Tea General Company has continuously expanded its business scope and innovated its business ideas. At present, the company has established thousands of acres of high-altitude pollution-free tea gardens and high-altitude organic tea gardens in Wuyi Mountain, northern Fujian, a world natural and cultural heritage protection area, which can stably supply high-quality, unique-taste high-altitude organic green tea (organic products certified by Swiss IMO) and pollution-free jasmine tea. The company also distributes protected "origin" famous teas as well as black tea, green tea, scented tea, oolong tea, Pu'er tea, compressed tea and various specifications of packaged tea and tea bags from famous tea producing areas across the country. Beijing Tea General Company takes "quality, service and integrity" as its business philosophy and enthusiastically provides services to consumers. In January 2006, the company became the first batch of enterprises in Beijing to obtain the national food quality and safety market access A-level certification (QS), and was awarded the honorary titles of "Integrity Rights Protection Unit", "Consumer Satisfaction Unit" and "National Customer Satisfaction Product" issued by relevant management departments. Beijing Tea General Company's distribution outlets are spread across all districts and counties in Beijing, and it is constantly expanding its business in other cities, and has established brand stores in Liaoning, Hebei and other provinces. At present, it also has the "Ziyu Pavilion" tea set franchise store specializing in Yixing famous purple clay pots, the "Jinghua" tea ceremony hall and the "Jinghua" tea wholesale and retail market with a construction area of 20,000 square meters in the Maliandao area.
