According to the old custom, on the day before the wedding, in addition to bedding, clothes, shoes, jewelry, quilts, and women's needlework supplies and other delicate items sent with the sedan chair when welcoming the bride, the rest of the red boxes, from beds to thread boards and spindles, are sent to the man's house by porters and laid out by bridesmaids, commonly known as "making the bed". Yuchang Guo was first built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. The original site was located in Fengqiao, an ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River. The founder was Luo Gongchenglin. In 2012, "Shili Hongzhuang" was included in the fourth batch of Zhejiang Province's intangible cultural heritage list. The collections of Yuchang Guo Folk Art Museum have been exhibited in Shaoxing for a long time.
