Pingyang Taipingdian paper-cut is named after the copper-shaped pattern and the auspicious Taiping language. It was popular in Wenzhou in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, and is now only circulated among the people in Pingyang. The purpose is combined with folk customs, and the subject matter varies depending on the occasion: for example, the paper-cut corresponding to the baby's week is "a thousand years old"; the corresponding to school and employment is "step by step promotion"; the corresponding to the completion of a new house is "popularity and wealth". The appearance is square or round, and most of the words in the middle are copper coin patterns, and there are also wreath patterns. The words are arranged in the order of top, bottom, right, left and center. Few are preserved, and most of them are destroyed after use. In 2007, it was included in the second batch of Zhejiang Province's intangible cultural heritage list.
