"Cuqiu" has a history of more than 5,000 years in my country. Its name originated in the Ming Dynasty and was called "kicking stone ball" in the Qing Dynasty. It is especially popular among the Manchu, Mongolian, Hui and other ethnic groups and is deeply loved by the people of Beijing. The game of "Cuqiu" is divided into two rounds, upper and lower, on a square flat field of 1010 meters. The players use the soles of their feet to kick or squeeze the ball forward so that it hits the opponent's or their own ball, and the points are calculated based on this. The one with the most total points in two rounds wins. Cuqiu has five major functions, including fitness, entertainment, education, performance, and competition, which fully embodies the theme of harmony in the traditional culture of the Chinese nation.
