Xingyiquan is an intangible cultural heritage project at the Fangshan District level in Beijing. It is as famous as Taijiquan and Baguazhang and is one of the three major internal martial arts. Xingyiquan's style is hard hitting and hard advancing, like lightning and thunder, which is unique among internal martial arts. The modern popular Xingyiquan was created and named by Li Laoneng of Shenzhou, Hebei Province after absorbing the content of Shanxi Dai's Xinyi Liuhequan. On the basis of Xinyi Liuhequan, Li Laoneng imitated the fine movements of all things in the world and combined with years of martial arts practice to change "Xinyi" to "Xingyi". As Xingyiquan matures, it has gradually become a famous Chinese martial arts boxing that combines health preservation with combat skills. Li Laoneng's main disciples include Li Taihe, Guo Yunshen, Liu Qilan, Song Shirong, Song Shide, etc. These disciples have their own successors, all over the country, and are particularly widely spread in Fangshan District, Beijing. More than 20 disciples and more than 1,000 students of Mr. Shao Shoujun, the successor of Xingyiquan in Fangshan District, are learning Xingyiquan. The basic form of Xingyiquan is three-body style; the basic content includes five-element boxing, twelve-form boxing, tripod, duel boxing, free-hand boxing, etc. The single-practice routines include five-element chain, miscellaneous hammer, eight-style boxing, four-hand boxing, twelve-hong hammer, entering and exiting the cave, five-element mutual generation, eight-character kung fu, upper, middle and lower eight hands, etc. The duel routines include three-hand cannon, five-flower cannon, body cannon, nine-set ring, etc. There are many kinds of boxing weapons, including swords, knives, swords, spears, sticks, Fangtian painted halberds, etc. Each weapon has strict size and shape requirements, the most prominent of which are horse tooth thorns, wolf tooth spears and borings. The main characteristics of Xingyiquan are simplicity and simplicity, strictness and compactness, upright body and steady steps, fast and complete, "hands out like steel files, hands down like hooks", "steps like plowing, feet down like taking roots", requiring the unity of mind and intention, intention and qi, qi and strength, shoulders and hips, elbows and knees, hands and feet. Xingyiquan is famous for its actual combat skills. It is one of the traditional Chinese boxing styles that uses single exercises and free-hand combat as the main training methods and practices both internal and external cultivation.
