🎧  Listen to Introduction

The Taogu Dance originated from a folk percussion dance in Wuchuan Wayao Village, with a history of more than 400 years. The Taogu is thin at the waist and covered with sheepskin at both ends. It makes a "ding-bang" sound when struck. The performers beat the Taogu while dancing, accompanied by suona, which is quite unique.
