Legend of Mount Tai in Fuzhou Since ancient times, the Ru River flowing from Nancheng and the Yihe River flowing from Yihuang have embraced today's Fuzhou City like the arms of a loving mother. Here, the river reflects the blue sky and shines with fascinating waves. It has been flowing for thousands of years, nourishing and irrigating thousands of acres of land. Here, the soil is fertile, the trees are lush, the crops are green, the grass is thick, and the fruits are everywhere. Here, all things are thriving, hundreds of birds are jumping, and the livestock are free. Here, all living creatures are jumping happily, cows are happy, horses are neighing, birds are singing, frogs are croaking, butterflies are flying, and bees are buzzing, sharing the days of immortals here. Legend has it that there was a male goat who practiced Taoism for a hundred years. His beard was white and long, and his hair and short tail were bald. However, because he could not get rid of "troubles", he never became an immortal. He always complained that the environment for his practice was not good, and his heart could not be "calm". One day, it heard a few birds chirping on the tree about the Feng Shui treasure land, so it ran to the treasure land, took a look, and decided to stay there to cultivate the Tao. Not long after, it became restless again, complaining about the living creatures here, saying that they were running around and making a lot of noise, disturbing its cultivation of Taoism. It went to tell them about its troubles, but everyone was still busy as usual, and advised it not to worry about troubles, otherwise it would go into the deep mountains and forests to cultivate the Tao. The fairy sheep thought that if it wanted to cultivate the Tao, it would need a good environment, but where could it find such a treasure land? It thought about it, and accidentally rolled down the hillside, and rolled into a concave land, with its four legs facing the sky. It couldn't roll any more. It happened that Li Tieguai passed by, and sprinkled the treasure water from the treasure gourd on the fairy sheep, turning its four legs into four small hills, its abdomen into a mound of earth, and its genitals into a stone standing on the mound of earth. Therefore, this precious land was named "Yangcheng". The stone was named "Taishan Stele" by a gossiper, but due to the Fuzhou accent, it was mistakenly called "Taishan Back". It is said that superstitious women in the past, if they were not pregnant, would go to the stone on the back of Taishan and sit for a while, and they would get pregnant. Later, during the continuous construction of the city and houses, the stone was also destroyed. (No pictures, welcome to provide.) (No pictures, welcome to provide.)
