Double Land Boat
The double land boat is mainly spread in the Honghua Port area of Honghua Town, Tancheng County. It is a traditional folk dance art, usually performed by five people, one man holding a pole to play the role of a boatman (boatman), and four women dressed as characters in stories and legends standing in the double boats. The two land boats sometimes separate and sometimes merge, sometimes move left and sometimes right, and dance in coordination. The Tancheng double land boat has a strong local flavor and local characteristics. In terms of performance content and hull pattern design, it is based on myths and legends, folk tales, historical stories, etc., with strong interactivity, realistic images, pretty colors, exaggerated and vivid characteristics, and vividly reproduces the water life of fishermen. The Tancheng double land boat not only retains the traditional performance style of the single land boat, but also increases the difficulty of the performance according to its own characteristics, adds dance movements and running patterns, adds dialogues and duets, and is loved by local people. It has high historical value, artistic value, and folklore research value. It is usually performed at markets, temple fairs and celebrations around the Spring Festival, and is performed simultaneously with other folk forms such as "floats", "stilts", "carrying county officials", and "playing flower sticks". This authentic performance method reproduces the scene of local people's festival celebrations and provides precious information for studying local folk festival customs and local conditions. In 1991, the double land boat was included in the "Collection of Chinese National Folk Dances (Shandong Volume)". In 2011, the Tancheng double land boat was included in the third batch of Linyi City's representative projects of municipal intangible cultural heritage. (No pictures yet, welcome to provide.)
