Taihe Qingyin
Taihe Qingyin has a long history. According to the "Qingyin Zhengpu", in the early Yuan Dynasty and late Ming Dynasty, there was a master Xuantan on the south bank of the Quanhe River in Yingzhou. He was knowledgeable and proficient in music. He liked string music, especially the zither. He studied all day long, never stopping in winter or summer, and sang a melody as a song, playing and singing with his disciples every day for self-entertainment. Because of its elegant and melodious tunes, it was named "Qingyin". In the middle of the Qing Dynasty, Qingyin spread to Taihe, and a spontaneous organization "Qingyin Society" appeared among the people. Usually, they agreed to meet every ten days or half a month, and they would sing together on weddings, birthdays, openings and other happy events. The singing was mostly in the living room or courtyard. The singers sat around the table, each holding an instrument, each playing a role, playing and singing, and entertaining themselves. In 1954, Taihe County Cultural Center organized old Qingyin artists to form an amateur drama troupe, taking the lead in changing Qingyin singing and playing into opera performances. In 1958, Taihe Qingyin's traditional repertoire "Chasing the Boat" participated in the first Anhui Province Quyi Festival and won an award. In August of the same year, the only Taihe County Qingyin Drama Troupe in the country was established, which was well received in the tours throughout the province. It has participated in provincial and municipal art performances many times and won awards. Anhui Provincial People's Broadcasting Station recorded the Qingyin Opera selections and excerpts for broadcast. In the early 1960s, Taihe County Qingyin Drama Troupe was disbanded. It was not until the 1980s that Taihe County Cultural Center resumed the activities of the amateur Qingyin group. Today, all the old Qingyin artists have passed away, and the young actors trained by the original Qingyin Drama Troupe are over 60 years old. Due to the lack of corresponding training measures, Taihe Qingyin has no successors and is on the verge of extinction. Qingyin has beautiful singing and clear tunes. It sounds gentle and gentle, which makes people feel refreshed and comfortable. It really gives people a kind of beautiful enjoyment, cultivates and sublimates people's spiritual realm, and has high aesthetic and literary value.
