Jiajia paper-cutting is the paper-cutting art of Jia Zuoyi from Taihou Village, Wangxinzhuang Town, Pinggu District. Jiajia paper-cutting absorbs the artistic characteristics and forms of the family-inherited craft "shadow carving" and is derived from paper-cut shadow puppets. Jiajia paper-cutting comes from life and has been passed down for four generations. Its works are simple and pure, with animals, plants, and people as the main themes. It uses a variety of techniques and has the characteristics of rhythm, interest and vividness. Representative works include "Dielianhua" and "Niannianyouyu".
