Jiajiang has a long history, and martial arts has a long history. Folk martial arts are spread throughout urban and rural areas. In 1972, the county amateur sports school was established, and the Jiajiang County martial arts team was established in the same year. In 1992, it was named the first "National Martial Arts Hometown" by the State Sports Commission. In March 2007, Jiajiang's Emei martial arts was announced by the Provincial People's Government as an intangible cultural heritage of Sichuan Province. At present, our county has 2 martial arts associations (groups), 10 martial arts coaches, 4 martial arts training venues, and more than 3,000 martial arts enthusiasts who participate in martial arts training all year round.
