Manchu Shaman God Sacrifice Project Batch: Provincial 4th Batch Project Protection Unit: Acheng District Manchu Friendship Association Representative Inheritor: Guan Yanlong Every year on the third day of the third lunar month, the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, and the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, the Acheng Manchu people conduct shaman sacrifice activities. At the sacrifice site, under the leadership of the shaman master, everyone lit a stick of incense, stood in front of the shrine with both hands holding incense, and prayed to the temple or the god pole and god tablet to pray for the gods to bless the year with good weather, peace and prosperity, etc. Then the young people of the tribe offered food in front of the shrine, and after the gods enjoyed it, they sang shaman songs and danced shaman dances to cheer the gods. After that, everyone went into the house to drink and eat, and watched Manchu local operas, yangko, folk dances, songs and other performances. The performance ended. The Acheng Shaman God Sacrifice is different from the modern Hezhe, Ewenki, Oroqen and other ethnic groups. It is a "traditional cultural sacrifice" activity spontaneously formed by the people in the specific cultural and historical environment of Acheng, with extensive mass and folk inheritance.
