At first, it was used to imitate the movements of animals to "drive away evil spirits and bring good luck" and relieve disasters. With the passage of time, it has been constantly changing and has become a characteristic dance of local ethnic groups and folks. The "judge" appeared first, followed by the "monk delivering happiness" and "Guanyin delivering a child" at the same time, and then the "landlord" and "Yi King" came on stage. The dance movements include: big star, small eight characters, small opening of the door, continuous with frustration, ghosts creating pits, one step 0, magpies climbing branches, Beidou hanging north, gold coins holding silver lamps, yellow dragons wagging their tails, white horses hanging their hooves, immortals connecting their feet, ancient trees with intertwined roots, leprous cows rubbing their itches, yellow orioles drying their wings, rhinoceroses looking at the moon, arhats taking a nap, sows rubbing their itches, antelopes fighting, and flies rubbing their feet.
