Four-string dance: Four-string dance is popular in Eshan, Xinping, Shuangbai and other counties and parts of Yao'an County. It is called "Yeqiebi" in Yi language, which means dancing while playing the moon guitar. It is called four-string dance or silk string dance in Chinese. Dancing four-string dance is a way for young men and women of Yi nationality to conduct social activities. They often get to know each other, fall in love and become partners through dancing four-string dance. Four-string dance has fixed tunes, and some tunes have fixed lyrics. When dancing, men play four strings and women clap their hands and dance. There are few hand movements, but many changes in the movements of the two feet, including "lifting feet", "tiptoeing", "facing feet", "kicking feet", "separating feet", "infected feet", "crossing feet", "pressing feet", "driving forward and backward", "half turning over" and more than a dozen other movements. The most basic step is to lift the foot. Other steps are the development and variation of lifting the foot. Four-string dance is soft and lyrical, and has a unique style among Yi dances.
