Huanxian paper-cutting has a long history. It is a mass traditional folk art activity with a long history in the Loess Plateau of Longdong. Most of its authors are working women. There are two styles of cutting: rough and delicate. The content continues the decorative patterns of Longdong paper-cutting, and retains China's earliest text art symbols and the philosophy of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements. The shape is neat and symmetrical, the lines are simple and smooth, and the connotation is based on historical traditions and life decorative patterns. The artistic taste of reflecting real life is strong. Huanxian paper-cutting is closely related to the cave dwellings and historical and cultural customs of Huanxian. Regardless of weddings, funerals, seasons, and festivals, paper-cutting is always with people. The process is as follows: 1. Printing and dyeing paper. 2. Hot stamping. Use a warm iron to iron the wrinkled paper. 3. Make a template. Use a pencil to outline the shape to be cut. 4. Paper cutting. Use sharp scissors to cut according to the template.
