Cuizhuang Gaoqiang Opera
Gaoqiang opera in Chuzhuang Village is an ancient folk opera. Gaoqiang opera in Chuzhuang Village did not evolve from local folk songs. It was a kind of vocalization introduced from other places and then combined with local voice (with some local accents). The Tongle Charity Association of Chuzhuang Village and the Gaoqiang Old Association of Shaduiying are the earliest opera associations established in Langfang. The Tongle Charity Association of Chuzhuang Village has a high performance level and has lasted the longest. It is the only opera association still in operation (renamed Qunlian Opera Troupe after the founding of the People's Republic of China). The repertoire of Gaoqiang opera in Chuzhuang Village is not mainly "three small" operas with folk life as the content, but mainly historical themes with large cost. The script structure and performance method of Gaoqiang opera in Chuzhuang Village have retained some relatively primitive characteristics. Gaoqiang opera pays more attention to the use of certain performance stunts, such as fire color and blood color, etc. The singing style of Gaoqiang opera belongs to the board style, and the board head is relatively complete. In addition, there are some singing tunes, such as baby tune, mountain sheep, water dragon chant, mountain song, three turns and nine turns, and bend tune. Different bantou and qupai are selected according to the plot and roles. The same bantou can be sung in different ways by different roles. The makeup of Gaoqiang opera has also retained many ancient styles, and various facial makeups have their own characteristics compared with those used in Peking opera and bangzi today. In the past, the facial makeup of female roles was not allowed to be painted. In recent years, some improvements have been made, and colored makeup has been implemented, but it is still different from Peking opera. The words and sentences of Chuzhuang Village Gaoqiang opera can be said to be both elegant and vulgar, easy to understand, and more particular about rhyme. The white mouth is also a fusion of rhymed white, Beijing white and dialect. What is more distinctive is that in the singing of some bantou, almost every sentence is filled with more empty words such as "ah, yeah, hey, cough, nai". From the perspective of music, the Gaoqiang of Chuzhuang Village has the characteristics of high-pitched voice, human voice, no orchestral accompaniment, and gong and drum accompaniment. When it is performed, one person sings and the others sing, which is both simple and noisy, and euphemistic and lyrical. The most amazing thing is that its voice is so sad that it really makes people feel moved. The Gaoqiang of Chuzhuang Village is regarded as authentic and can be performed in clan, festive, entertainment, and religious performances. It does not perform "gambling plays" and does not participate in weddings and funerals. The Gaoqiang Tongle Charity Association of Chuzhuang Village has collected many opera relics from the Qing Dynasty, such as costumes: anti-king hats, old phoenix crowns, row hats, red swords, flags, small soldier scarves, big belts, association flags, back guard flags, colored knives, etc. The Gaoqiang opera of Chuzhuang Village preserves the original singing method of Gaoqiang. It is one of the farthest sources of Chinese opera and Chinese dance, and is a living fossil of my country's ancient drama culture. It has rich and unique national modeling arts and clothing cultural value, and has an inspiring effect on the research of Gaoqiang communication and cultural exchanges among various regions and ethnic groups. The development and evolution, historical inheritance and exchange of Gaoqiang opera art in Chuizhuang Village have high historical research and modern cultural value.
