The Xihuang Shenggu in Xinle Shitou originated in ancient times and has a long history. It is an excellent folk percussion performance art. It is an indispensable artistic wonder for people's celebrations, celebrations, sacrifices, entertainment, etc. According to the "Investiture of the Gods", when King Wu defeated Zhou, Jiang Taigong used drums and battle flags to set up the Eight Diagrams and other formations to confuse the enemy and defeat the Shang army, and the Zhou army won a great victory. In order to celebrate the victory and out of worship and gratitude to Emperor Xihuang, Jiang Taigong named the drum "Xigu". Since Xinle City is the "Xihuang Shengli" where Fuxi grew up, developed and grew strong, people call Xigu "Xihuang Shenggu" after being passed down from dynasty to dynasty. After gradual improvement, a complete set of folk percussion performance art has been formed. The Xihuang Shenggu is divided into eight chapters according to the Eight Diagrams, and each chapter plays a popular story. The drum beats of Xihuang Shenggu are distinct, with unique style and long history.
