Yangjiakou Village is located in the north-eastern part of Dacheng County. During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, the Yang family lived here and the village was built near the river mouth, so it was named Yangjiakou. Yang Yanzhao, a famous general in the Song Dynasty, once stationed troops here. There are more than 20 ancient music concerts in Dacheng County. Most of the repertoires performed are the same, but the repertoires preserved in the Yangjiakou Ancient Music Concert are more prominent in the elements of court music, which is different from the repertoires of other concerts. The Yangjiakou Concert was formed during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, and has a history of more than 400 years. Li Wusheng, who was an official in the court during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, retired and returned to his hometown to introduce some court music to Yangjiakou. According to legend, in the 14th year of the Zhengtong period of the Ming Dynasty, after Emperor Yingzong Zhu Qizhen was captured by the Tatar army in Tumubao, Li Wusheng was sad for a while, and borrowed the situation of Wang Zhaojun in the Han Dynasty to compose the music "Zhaojun Sweeping the Moon". "Sweeping" means sacrifice, expressing the feeling of lament. The ancient music scores preserved by the music group are mainly court music, and later Taoist and Buddhist music were added. Its main feature is that the repertoire is ancient and pure. When playing, it goes from low to high from the first board to the third board, which is natural and smooth, elegant and melodious, simple and rough, and beautiful. There are more than 40 pieces of repertoire preserved, including "Anti-tune First Board Golden Chain Lock", "Bean Leaves Yellow", "Fighting Keke", "Wannianhua (Huan)", "Cao", "Chasing the Son", "Liuyejin", "Old Youth", "Tianxiatong", "Golden Chain Lock", "Five Holy Buddhas", etc. Around 1948, there were 26 performers, and now there are 14 musicians on the concert register. The main instruments are sheng, pipe, flute, big drum, small hand drum, small bell, boring, Qingzhi, small cymbals, big cymbals, cloud gongs, big pans, etc. There is also a dragon card, 14 god cards, and 8 god tents. Yangjiakou Concert has a long history and is a treasure of national culture. Its repertoire is rich, comprehensive, and complete. It has been found that there are repertoires different from other ancient concerts, which has high academic value for the study of ancient folk music. However, due to the limitations of the market economy, many young people have quit concerts to engage in other activities. Now the concert staff is seriously aging, and there is no successor. Only 14 people can play some of the music, and the concert is facing the danger of being discontinued.
