Yanfutun Village is located four kilometers south of Gaoyang County and was formed in the Western Han Dynasty. The Yanfutun Concert originated from the Taoist music built in the Xuan Emperor Temple in this village. During the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, due to the war and turmoil, the incense of the Xuan Emperor Temple gradually decreased and eventually disappeared. During the Yongle period, the Taoist priests who guarded the temple feared that the music of the temple would be lost, so they taught it to other villagers, and gradually formed the Yanfutun Concert, which has a history of 570 years. There are two forms of performance in this concert. One is fixed-seat performance (also known as sitting altar). When playing, sit around the table, the pipe is in the middle, the sheng is on both sides, the flute is at the back, and the percussion is on one side. The main music starts the song; the other is wandering performance. When playing, the cloud gong is in front, the pipe group is second, the sheng stands on both sides of the pipe, the flute is third, and the percussion is the last. In addition to playing pure music, this concert also sings and chants. When singing and chanting, the dang is in the middle, and the small drum and small cymbals are on both sides. When the musicians encounter different pitches of music during the performance, they change the fingering instead of changing instruments. The singing method is called "fan gongche". The arrangement of the concert is relatively fixed, generally two cloud gongs, six pipes, six shengs, six flutes, one drum, one large cymbal, one small cymbal, one dang, one cymbal, and a large bass gong, with the middle pipe playing as the main instrument. There are a total of 24 music scores played in the Yanfutun concert, which are "Xiao Erfan", "Letting the Donkey Go", "Picking the Robe", "Three Kingdoms Praise", "Leaving Cao", "Li Fengrong", "June Chrysanthemum", "Wannianhua", "Big Alan" (1-3), "Little Alan" (1-3), "Shaban", "Four Seasons Song" (Green Peace Spring, Willow Smoke Summer, Die Luo Jinqian Autumn, Four Seasons Winter), "Asking for Accounts", "Big Tune", "Four Up Schools", "Walking Horses", "Chasing Children", "Five-", "Hao Fo", "Sha Luo", "Eight Boards", "Flower Garden", "Lou Dou Gun", "Scold Wang Lang".
