Poyang Yugu (second batch of provincial level) storytelling form. The storytelling form of Poyang Yugu is divided into two types: sitting and walking. The "two-beat" Yugu is a "sitting" form; the "three-beat" Yugu, because it retains the form of begging from door to door in the old days, can be "walking" or "sitting". Whether sitting or walking, it is not limited by time and place. The storytelling mainly relies on facial and eye expressions. When telling the story, the right hand can be used to make appropriate gestures to express the character's emotions and the needs of the content. The new Yugu has made a breakthrough in the traditional performance form, adding band accompaniment, and the number of storytellers has increased from one to several, and they can sing and dance. The Yugu tube has been transformed from a musical instrument into a prop. Storytelling props. The main props of Poyang Yugu are: Yugu tube, simple board and small cymbals. Operating posture and playing skills: The storyteller holds the Yugu tube with his left arm, with the drum face facing down, and plays with the simple board in the palm of his hand; the four fingers of the right hand hit the drum face together. The techniques of clapping include tapping, light tapping, heavy tapping, and continuous tapping. Jianban is specially used for clapping. It can be tapped single-clicked, tapped together with the fishing drum, or shaken. Shaking is a special playing technique of Jianban, which is used when the rhythm is extended or the atmosphere is lively. When shaking, the holding posture of the board can be changed from flat to vertical, that is, the left hand is raised, and the two ends of the board are in the up and down direction. The Jianban is shaken continuously, so that the two ends of the Jianban rotate continuously and emit a series of "clucking" sounds, which is equivalent to the "Sibian" in opera, so as to achieve the effect of coaxing the atmosphere and livening up the environment.
